The Role

Wrays are looking for a Senior Patent Attorney to join our team in Melbourne.

This role requires an individual who is commercially astute, with the ability to manage and lead in a team environment.  In addition to governing a diverse client base, you will need to be able to liaise at an executive level.  Naturally, you will possess exceptional client service skills and be able to develop client relationships with a sound delivery focus.  The initiative to actively seek out and execute self-driven business development objectives is also critical to success in this position.

Your Experience

Drawing on your skills and experience you will perform conventional drafting, filing, prosecution, opinion, and opposition work.  You will also have litigation experience with a proven track record of advising on patent disputes, and will work closely with our litigation team.

To be successful in this role it is imperative that you have proven business development skills and possess the drive, enthusiasm and dedication to work both in a team and independently.

To be considered for this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Life Sciences (or a related discipline), be registered as a Patent and Trade Marks Attorney, experience practising as a patent attorney in a patent attorney or law firm and preferably have a minimum of eight years post qualification experience in practice.

If you are a talented individual looking to develop your career in a successful, dynamic and rapidly growing firm, please submit your resume online.
