Our Commercial/Technology team in Auckland is looking for a talented Senior Associate to join them.

Working primarily with partner Richard Wells, the role is broad ranging. Clients vary from multi-nationals to start ups and span a range of industries from telco, media and technology to banking, luxury goods, sport and tourism. No two days are the same and you will thrive on the variety of work and direct access to clients.

A background of 7+ years' experience in commercial law and IT or IP is needed, together with a genuine interest in technology and its commercialisation.

Your drafting skills and ability to turn documents around with an eye to achieving pragmatic commercial outcomes will be valued. You will thrive on problem solving, and bring a 'can do' attitude together with a friendly professional style.  Your personable and approachable style will assist you to foster strong client relationships, as well as develop junior members of the team.

Working with the team's national and international clients on many of the sectors high profile projects, you will not only enjoy working in a collegial and supportive team but you will also relish the experience of learning from the best.
